Steps to Apply
- 1. Submit Inquiry
Submit an inquiry from our website or call 407-718-0410 - 2. Phone Interview
Once you have submitted an inquiry the school Administrator will reach out for a phone interview. - 3. Submit an Application
The application includes a $200 non-refundable application fee due at the time of submission, and a current psychoeducational evaluation.
As part of the online application, you will be prompted to submit a copy of your child’s:
– Psychoeducational evaluation (completed within three years from the date of the application).
– IEP or 504 (if applicable)
Your application will not be considered complete without this documentation. - 4. Two Shadow Days/Student Screening
Park School shadow days are two consecutive days. We shadow on Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday. A representative from the school office will reach out to set up a time for your prospective student to shadow at Park School.
As part of the student's shadow day, a screening will be conducted in Reading, Writing, and Math to assess the student's potential fit for placement at Park School.
A Park School tour will be provided on their child's second shadow day.
Upon completion and review of the student Shadow Days, the Admission Committee will reach out for possible enrollment. - 5. Applicant References
Park School requires a Personal and Educational Reference. The Admission Committee will be reaching out to your recommended references. The Applicant Reference forms are due back within 5 days. - 6. Admission Decision and Enrollment
Applicants who complete the application process, including submission of required records and references, screening, and an interview, will receive admission decision within 24 hours of their Shadow Day. An applicant may be offered admission, deferred, or denied admission. All admission decision are made at the sole discretion of Park School.
If an applicant is accepted but the requested grade level is currently full, the student will be placed on the wait list until an enrollment spot becomes available in their grade level.
Once admissions is offered, families will have one week to complete the enrollment process and secure their student's place.
